A TikTok video has gone viral after a worker shared her experience of falling asleep for 12 hours and missing her shift at work. The video posted by @queenquteepey has racked up over 7 million views, with many viewers empathizing with her panic and some even sharing similar experiences.

She decided to take a nap at 4 pm and set an alarm for an hour Later planning to wake up and go to work. However she ended up sleeping for 12 hours straight & woke up the next day.
As she realizes what happened the Tik-Toker opens her blinds to show the lack of light outside and panics as she checks the time realizing it’s already 5 am. She explains that she didn’t call or text to let her boss know and was a no Show for her shift.
The video has garnered a lot of attention with viewers sharing their own experiences and sympathizing with the Tik-Tokers situation. Some viewers encouraged her to not be too hard on herself for sleeping for so long saying that she must have needed the rest.

Others praised her boss for being understanding stating that more managers should show empathy in such situations. Some managers even commented that they would have a similar response if one of their employees missed their shift due to oversleeping.
