Megan Thee Stallion, a 27-year-old Grammy-winning rapper, testified earlier that she was shot in the leg after leaving a pool party.
Lanez did not react when the verdict was read. He was remanded in custody and is scheduled to be sentenced on January 27.
It was not immediately known if Tory Lanez planned to appeal.
Speaking after the case ended, a lawyer for Megan Thee Stallion told reporters, “The jury got it right. I’m thankful there’s justice for Meg.” The rapper was not in court to hear the verdict.

During the trial, Megan the Stallion, whose real name is Megan Peet, testified that she was shot and wounded at a party in the Hollywood Hills on July 12, 2020.
The rapper argued that he became enraged after Lanez, whose real name is Dester Peterson, insulted his musical talent. He said she wanted him to get out of a luxury car before shooting her five rounds.
He told the jury that the Canadian asked him to “dance” before shooting him.
He also testified that he offered her $1m (£830,000) to keep quiet about the attack because he claimed he was on probation for a weapons offence. He initially told police he had cut his leg on the glass.
Lanez denied the allegations related to the dispute with the co-star and his lawyer, George Mgdesian, argued unsuccessfully that the investigation was botched.
He said Megan The Stallion’s friend Kelsey Harris shot him, adding it was all about “jealousy”.
Several bullet fragments were removed from Megan the stallion’s leg after the shooting, but some remained.
He admitted in his testimony that he was “intimate” with Lanez.
Megan The Stallion – who won the Grammy for Best New Artist in 2021 – is best known for her hit Savage, which features Beyonce.
