A TikTok video has gone viral recently, shedding light on the night-shift woes at McDonald’s. The video, posted by content creator Tanner (@tannertan36), features a skit of what he believes McDonald’s workers are like after 10pm.

When he asks for an Oreo McFlurry, the worker tells him that the machine isn’t working. This prompts Tanner to ask when they will fix it. The worker responds with a comment about Tanner’s love life, leaving him blankly staring into the camera.
Although the video is a skit, it has resonated with customers who frequently visit McDonald’s at night. Many have shared their own horror stories of rude staff and broken machines in the comments section.
One person shared that the night staff “really don’t care” and even cussed them out after they asked for a mango pineapple smoothie. Another customer recounted an incident where a fight broke out over whether or not they had ordered a Shamrock Shake.

Despite the negative experiences, some customers sympathized with the night-shift workers, acknowledging their difficult working conditions. ” Because they are about ready to close and they want to go home after a long day of work” one person noted.
